This unit has been fully serviced by our Leica trained service technician and fully tested ensuring no thick / thin sectioning or erratic cutting behavior. Calibrated for accuracy. Comes with warranty and bottle of Leica recommended oil.

All controls are placed on the front of the microtome ensuring convenient operation during the setting of section thicknesses, the controlled sectioning of the object and the rapid adjustment of the knife.

For precise alignment of the specimen and the knife, the specimen clamp can be tiltd through 10o in any direction by means of two knurled screws. Knife moves horizontally towards the specimen, either automatically or manually.

Knife can be rapidly adjusted by hand, over a range of 36mm.
